My Very Own Place - That I Call Home...

These past few weeks have been a rough patch here in Uganda.

Life has been hard and stressful.

It has also been extremely painful.

Not once have I ever been left alone.

He is so faithful to me and I can't imagine walking
through this journey of life alone.

This past month He has been known as my fortress!

I felt God preparing me that soon the time would come
that I would be living on my own.

I just didn't expect it to be so soon.

But when the push came I knew it was my time to set off.

With lots of prayer I made the move.

It wasn't an easy situation but I felt God whisper that the
reason for the situation was because He was working behind the scene.

I was comforted to remember the verse God had given me so long alone.

"For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give
you a hope and a future."  Jeremiah 29:11

Such sweet words He whispered to my heart so many months ago.

Long before the time came I began to pray that He would direct
my steps to the perfect home for me.

But this time I prayed another little prayer, for more then just a palm tree.

I love being specific and watching God provide the very desires of your heart.

Wouldn't you know that when I opened the gate I knew it was meant to be.

Within a day of seeing the house I had set up to meet with the landlord.

The next day I went into the meeting, I had given it to God
and knew if this was the house for me He would open the door.

We talked and I shared my heart with them.

Wouldn't you know but God had opened the door!

The day we met to sign the contract they shared with me how the
other person who had looked at the house had called them the day after
and offered even more then I had paid!

Only GOD!

He had saved the perfect house for me.

God had provided even more then I could imagine.

He is always so faithful to me.

He has done above and beyond all that I could think or ask.
