Ever feel like....

EVER FEEL LIKE JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO....

RIGHT NOW YOU'D REALLY LIKE TO JUMP ON A

AND GO TO SOME WHERE FAR FAR AWAY....

ACROSS THE

If I was to go right now anywhere this is where I would go...

I'd arrive in Uganda..

I'd junp on a Boda...

And then I'd tell them where to go...
I would run inside and sign myself in as a volunteer id print my name so clearly so that someday I could look back and see just how many times my name was in that book...

I would run through the orphanage and franticly search for my Martha
and I'd grab her and hug her tight and id tell her how much I missed her and wish that she had someone that would love her and call her there own. I love you Martha

And I miss you.......

Yes. I often feel exactly like that. In 24 hours I could be in my Africa home if I left right now. I often long to be there, but have to remember that God has me here in North America for now...but I know He will bring me back one day :-)

I know how you feel! I would so jump on a plane and go to Uganda right now if I could!! I would then go to Loving Hearts Baby Home and find my favorite little boy, Derrick!

Happy Birthday! You don't know me but I follow your mom's blog. I have 3 kids and we are starting an Ethiopian adoption. I love that you are so young and want to serve the Lord in Uganda! You are an inspiration to me!

Emma, I read your mom's blog and have emailed her a few times. See, I knew Elijah while he was at Sanyu. I worked there for a few months 2 summers ago and fell in love with the place. I am currently praying about returning, too and yes, most days I feel like I just want to go back home to Uganda:)

Anyway, now that you know the connection, i just wanted to say happy bday.

Yep, I'm sure I hear Kenya calling!

Emma, would you mind if I used the pic you took at my house with the kids looking at the rainbow for a blog post I just wrote on color-blind?
I'd credit you.

If you think it's ok just send the pic to my e-mail mlthauger@hotmail.com

Blessings and happy birthday my "african friend!"

I just ran across your blog, and I think it is amazing that God has awakened your heart at such a young age to His calling for you.

If I could jump on a plane right now, my place would be Zimbabwe.

I look forward to following your blog and being a witness to your God-given dreams coming true!
