Dear Emma,

I've been praying... and I have a suggestion for you to discern...

I know that going to a place like Uganda, where needs bleed all over...it's hard not to be strong, minister with all you've got, and give what you think you don't have...

I was wondering if your dad and whoever else on the team is not feeling well would consider gathering the children to lay hands on them and pray...

God hears the prayer of the fatherless. I think it's because they live in a place of brokeness and realize they have nothing to offer... it's all up to God.

By the way, I was looking at your blog header as I was talking with the Lord and I noticed how much you look like the boy in the photo with you.. sounds strange, I know... but you both have God's DNA...

Sweet blessings of calm tummies!

Emma,

I just fell over when I saw the picture of that little girl and you on your mom's blog. God has spoken to my heart that she is our daughter (showed me her picture on-line a month ago). I am dying to hear about her and for you to tell her that God is bringing her a family!! I prayed last night that God would send someone to give her hope of a forever family and I couldn't believe she was on the blog this morning! I think he picked you!! I'd love to hear from you all about her and your trip. adoption@fbclodi.org

Emma,
I just saw that the pictures were from 2 years ago, so my (-: little girl's name is Diane and she was at the first orphanage you visited. Her B-day is 1/15/03. In the picture she was missing 2 front teeth and the others stick out a little (that might have changed in 2 years)If you get this message and get back to that one, please tell her there is a family that wants her!!

-Feel free to not post these messages. It was the only way to contact you!
